2026 Talisman Derby Day

Join us at Talisman Therapeutic Riding for the 151st Running of the Kentucky Derby! On May 2, 2026, Talisman is celebrating its 15th Annual Derby Day at the farm. This very special event supports Talisman Therapeutic Riding in its mission to transform lives by fostering personal growth, healing, and empowerment through equine-assisted activities and enriching outdoor experiences. Talisman is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides exceptional resources which facilitate quality human-horse interactions and contribute to making the world a better place.

The festivities begin at 4:30 pm! Start with a stroll around the farm, greet our happy horses, and say hello to Hazel. Enjoy bourbon tasting, mint juleps, and complimentary beer and wine as you bid on the vast array of silent auction items. Meet our good friend, and wildlife artist, Jon Shaw and peruse his beautiful paintings offered for sale. A traditional Southern supper is served and the friendly competition begins with a live auction of amazing offerings. Be sure to wear a festive Derby Day hat - prizes will be given for the top female and male fashionistas!

Derby Day is Talisman's largest annual fundraiser and provides support for programs and activities throughout the year. Please remember to give generously, and donations are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you at the farm!
