Come and visit historic Wye Farm and tour the 33 acres of native wildflowers. Enjoy presentations by Ecologist Dr. Wayne Bell discussing the importance of successional habitat to birds, pollinators and wildlife. As well as Dan Small, natural lands coordinator at Washington College, who will cover the planting and maintenance of native wildflowers. This will be followed by a guided walking tour of our habitat.

Arrive at Wye Farm for either the morning or afternoon session (whichever you registered for). Enjoy the informative presentation by our esteemed speakers. We will then divide into smaller groups and take an easy guided walk on our well maintained grass trails. Identify birds, bugs and native wildflowers. The walk is approximately 2 miles so bring comfortable walking shoes, water, hats, sunscreen and binoculars if you are a birders! Your registration fee is a 100% donation to Talisman Therapeutic Riding.
